Professional development and involvement
Jonelle is passionate about the development of coaching as a profession. She is committed to support and work towards the standardisation and transparency of ethics, competencies and standards in the coaching field as well as  guiding and nurturing a scientific-practitioner based coaching culture.

Commitments and merits that align with Jonelle’s values of professionalism and continued development include:
- Presenting at the 7th Annual Mentoring and Coaching Conference 2008: “Coaching and Social Upliftment  in a South            African context” (presented own research findings)
- Participated in three consultation groups for the Global Coaching Convention
- Visited on invitation, the  YIP office in the Netherlands as part of an exchange initiative in April 2008
- bi-weekly peer supervision (2007-)
- Monthly multi-disciplinary group discussion (coaching, psychology and psychiatry) (2006)
- Co-coordinator of the SA Co-active coaching Community (2006-)
